After releasing the single “Pretty Girl Dance Pt. 2” last month, Yalee teamed up with Fetty Wap to bring his listeners the visuals to the track. Surrounded by “pretty girls”, Yalee drops some verses while serenading them all before Fetty drops in with his smooth, laid back flow. Enjoy.
I remember when I stumbled upon Dyme-A-Duzin back when I first created this blog and it’s been amazing to watch his elevation since then. He has definitely evolved as an artist and has honed his craft. So, when I noticed he had a new video, I just had to check it out. “Good Lawd” is a banger equipped with a sweet Asian vibe to the beat and features a very Karate Kid-esque visual to boot. Featuring the likes of a very grown up Stro and Wati Heru.
This video was a much needed piece for our generation and the current times we find ourselves in. “Wake Up Music” is pretty much a well played commentary on the racial injustices that have been recently taking place in this country that we call home. Alex Faith, Dre Murray, and Swoope did a phenomenal job with this one. This single will be featured on Alex Faith and Dre Murray’s collaborative project titled Southern Lights: Exposed, which drops April 28th.
So this was left in my inbox and, not gonna lie, when the video first started I thought it was going to be a complete disaster. And then something amazing happened and I have no words. None. Speechless. Not only is the beat a complete hard hitting banger but Futuristic seriously shows you through his flow and his bars why he is “The Greatest”. Do not be surprised at all if you start seeing his name all over the place. He has a very bright future ahead of him.
YONAS is back right on schedule with an all new track for his Freemix Tuesday series. This time around YONAS went straight for the Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk” and it’s every bit as funky as the original. A fun song with a carefree, fun video. YONAS manages to maintain the originality of the song while giving it his own flair. Check it out and stay tuned for all future remixes.
So, this isn’t exactly new but when I watched this video I just had to share it. Tom MacDonald has a very laid back kind of flow that sucks you in. “Fight Your Fears” has a soothing beat that makes you think of Chinese harps and it’s just a warm sounding track. However, what really impressed me even more was the fact that not only can Tom write and record a quality song but he also produced it himself and even co-directed the video. Can’t wait to hear and see more from this talented threat. Check it out and let me know what you think.
This is the first single off of his project Macbeth.
“Warning Shots/Murda” is the first single and video to be released off of Raz Fresco‘s forthcoming project Pablo Frescobar, which is set to drop sometime this summer. This video was shot entirely in Philly (shouts to Philly!) while Raz was in town for the Joey Bada$$ “B4.DA.$$” Tour.
Raz’s album sounds promising; sporting features from the elite like Raekwon, Chuck Inglish, Joey Bada$$, Tre Mission, and more. Definitely keep an eye out for that.
